Trustee Biographies
Russell E. White
Russell E. White and his wife Sally are residents of Pasadena, California. They have three daughters and three granddaughters. Long time animal lovers, Russ and Sally oversee the care and well-being of a rescued mixed breed terrier, "Annie".
Russ was an executive of an internationally known corporation for 24 years. After retirement he became associated with Thornton S. and Katrina D. Glide Foundation, and takes particular interest in the rescue operation. As a Trustee he shares in the annual allocation of funds to grant applicants.
Dick Bruga
Richard D. Bruga, D.V.M. Retired veterinarian from small animal medicine in Davis & Woodland, CA. He was the Glides veterinarian for their pets for a number of years. Upon their death he was named one of 3 trustees to administer the T.S. and K. D. Glide Foundation. In addition to being responsible for selecting candidates for yearly grant distribution, He oversees the maintenance of structures on the estate and offers advice on the animal rescue portion of the foundation.
Dick and his wife Trish are avid gardeners & plant collectors.
Yvonne Le Maitre
Yvonne Le Maitre was born and raised in Yolo County. She has spent her entire life developing blood lines of performance quarter horses.
Her family ranch, WildOak, has for six decades been a safe haven for all animals and birds.
Her interests include music, art and the theatre.
